Happy 2009! This year marks the Love Letter Collection's 8th year running. Thank you for visiting and for keeping the collection alive through your reading and your submissions.

The Love Letter Collection started out in 2001 as a public, collaborative exploration of love and desire, and began inviting guest editors in 2005. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to all our editors. It's their unique vision and interest in the letters that keep this collection vital, eight years from its inception. The wealth of love letter submissions has never slowed, and each month we have visitors from all over the world including China, Africa, India, and Japan.

Thank you for again all your love letters, which are the life force of this project. Our new collection, just posted, is edited by author and Baltimore radio personality, LaDawn Black.
