| Cindy Loehr
started the Love Letter Collection in 2001 as a public, collaborative exploration
of love and desire, and began inviting guest editors in 2005. She
maintains this ongoing collection alongside her sculpture and writing projects,
which investigate emotional experience and how we cope with life.
Cindy has exhibited at Sculpture Center, NY (2009), the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia (2008); The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2008); Hiromi Yoshii Gallery, Tokyo (2006); The Contemporary, Atlanta (2005), the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (2004); the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (2002), and other venues. She was awarded a Core Program artist residency with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2003-2005). Cindy is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
