WHY NOT GIVE ME A TRY?


i don't understand you - i'm not your type but you spend hours, days, and even weeks with me on end (dreading the moments when your girlfriend calls.. not because you're not supposed to be with me - but because you can barely stand talking to her), i know all your favorite things and just how you like them where as she doesn't know your favorite color after a year, you never once have had to hide your true self from me but you hide things from her, you are the best friend i've ever had.. and i love you more each day.. how will i ever gain the guts to tell you?

because i know i'm not "your type" but neither is she - at least i make you laugh, smile, and i make you happy - i see it when you're with me and i see it fade when you're with her.. why not give me a try? you know and i know the depth of my love for you.. it doesn't even have to be stated - so why are we waiting? try something new - different - try me.
