IT DIDN'T LEAK OIL ANYMORE

I feel like our relationship is a car that we've been driving for a really long time, and maybe the check engine light would come on sometimes, but it always drove really smooth so we never really took it in for anything. Then in the middle of a long, long trip the radiator blew up. But now that we've taken it to the mechanic, he is telling us about all the other things that need to be fixed too.

okay, cheesy metaphor, but you know what I mean.

remember when my volvo blew up in the middle of the freeway? (I remember you picked me and _______ up that night.. I must have fallen in love with you that night.)

Anyways, I was faced with the decision of either replacing the engine for 1000 bucks in my 900 dollar car, or using the 1000 bucks to buy a new car. I chose to replace the engine, because I was afraid of the new problems I would have to deal with in another 1000 dollar car. And I hate to throw away something I like, even if it has problems. and I'm glad I kept my volvo--because it actually did run a lot better after that and it didn't leak oil anymore.

okay okay okay
you get it.
