BLUE PORTALS INTO PLACES The moment I met you in life, my world spun to a dizzying height, where it remains until, I fear, its inevitable fall. We will never be anything more than friends, but I am grateful for the opportunity to have known you in the way I have. You've always been a source of constant support, and your kindness and advice give me strength. We are both married to other people, and I accept that - we had lives before and made choices accordingly. But I can't control this, I tremble a bit in your presence. I can barely look in your eyes because I feel I am flying through blue portals into places to which I've longed to travel, but was denied because I had no guide and didn't know the way. We are earth and sky, the same essence distilled into separate, complementary parts, and I am forever in awe of you. I wish you every happiness, every good and beautiful thing.
