Cindy Loehr 2005 This monumental octogon tent hangs in peaks from the ceiling. It's constructed from oversize pieces of muslin, sewn and hand dyed by the artist. One side folds open for an entrance into the glowing interior space. Metal folding chairs are set up inside, for the audience to sit and listen to a pre-recorded oration. The artist recites the text live inside the tent at scheduled times throughout the exhibition. |
