The
Pillowheads sing a lullaby about the seduction and danger of comfort.
Speakers are imbedded in the pillows, which slowly rotate from side
to side. The lyrics are written by the artist. The male/female harmony
composed and performed by Carlos Lama and Nancy Novotny with assistance
by H.K. Kahng.
Pillowheads: Lullaby (excerpt from lyrics)
no
need to trust us, nothing to believe
days grow dull, we will never leave
you'll learn to sing a forever lullaby
erasing the pain of the world
every
day echoes, enough to fill your mind
sweet sounds of comfort, soon make you blind
eyes full of clouds, you won't know why
you shut out the pain of the world
