| Michael Jones McKean's work has been exhibited at the Quebec City Biennial, Grand Arts in (Kansas City, MO), DiverseWorks (Houston, TX), The Bemis Center (Omaha, NE), Horton Gallery (NYC), Project Gentili (Italy), Inman Gallery (Houston, TX), and ThreeWalls (Chicago, IL). His awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Nancy Graves Foundation Award, and an Artadia Award. His residencies include The Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York City, and The Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center.
